Improve your eBay listings

eBay bulk editing—change many listings, keep track of every change

Collect changes to prices, shipping costs, titles, or item specifics, review them in the change queue, and transfer them to eBay together. For each one, you see whether eBay has applied it.

Quick answer

How do I safely change many eBay listings at once?

In eOptima, you first queue changes to prices, shipping costs, titles, or item specifics. The change queue shows each change with its new value; with “Transfer all pending”, you send them to eBay together. You see the status of every change, and eOptima only applies new values after eBay confirms them.

Transfer in bulk instead of clicking one by one

Whether after a parcel price increase or for new required item specifics: a correction often affects many listings. In eOptima, you queue changes first—in review mode, in the listings overview, or as selected shipping recommendations. The change queue shows each of them with its new value.

You decide: transfer them individually, transfer all pending changes at once, or discard them. Your data in eOptima only changes once eBay has confirmed the change, and the same change is never carried out twice.

  • Status for each change: pending, scheduled, transferring, applied on eBay, failed, or discarded
  • Select multiple shipping recommendations and transfer them to eBay together
  • Failed transfers with the eBay error message and “Try again”

Step by step

How to edit many eBay listings at once

Collect and review first, then transfer—so every change stays traceable.

  1. Find affected listings

Use quick filters, the listing search, or the shipping analysis to find all listings that need the same fix.

  2. Queue changes

Correct values in review mode or in the listings overview, or select multiple shipping recommendations. Everything goes into the change queue first.

  3. Review the queue

Check the queued values. Discard what does not fit and transfer the rest with “Transfer all pending”.

  4. Check the result

Check the status of each change. If there are errors, eOptima shows the message from eBay; after correcting the issue, you try again. The history records before and after values.

Example using demo data

120 shipping costs after a rate increase

A carrier has raised its prices. The shipping analysis finds 120 affected listings; you select the matching recommendations and transfer them together.

Selected recommendations
120 shipping changes

117 applied, 3 failed

Bulk editing with good judgment

eOptima does not transfer blanket formulas or percentage changes across all listings. Every change has a specific new value that you see before the transfer.

eBay may reject individual changes, for example if a required item specific is missing or a listing is blocked. Each transfer costs credits or is included with Premium.

Why controlled bulk editing is safer

No accidental overwrites

eOptima protects against duplicate transfers and outdated versions and only applies new values after eBay has confirmed them. That way, an older change never overwrites a newer state.

Traceable for you and your accounting

The history shows every price, shipping, and listing change with before and after values. Entries cannot be changed or deleted afterward.

Business policies stay untouched

When eOptima changes the shipping costs of a listing that uses eBay business policies, the shared shipping policy is never changed. Other listings with the same policy stay unchanged.

Questions about eBay bulk editing

Can I transfer all pending changes at once?

Yes. With “Transfer all pending”, you start the transfer of all queued changes. eOptima asks for confirmation first so you can check the values once more.

What happens if eBay rejects a change?

The change appears as “Failed” with the message from eBay. Your data in eOptima stays unchanged. After correcting the issue, you can transfer it again.

What does bulk editing cost?

Preparing and reviewing are free. Each transfer costs 5 credits; with Premium, transfers are unlimited. Fields that you save together with one click count as one transfer.
