Pricing questions

Questions about pricing, cancellation, and limits

What is a listing action?

A listing action is any save of a change that eOptima transfers to eBay for you—for example, a new price, corrected shipping costs, or added item specifics (a transfer)—or a market price comparison that loads the cheapest active listings on eBay. Fields you save together with one click count as one transfer. Reviewing, analyzing, and editing are free.

How many credits does a listing action cost?

A transfer costs 5 credits; a market price comparison with at least one matching listing costs 10 credits. If the comparison finds no matching listings or fails for technical reasons, nothing is charged. The credits are reserved before the start and only booked on success. So with 500 credits, you get, for example, 100 transfers or 50 market price comparisons with matches. You can see your current balance in your account at any time.

Is there a starting balance?

Yes. Every new account receives a one-time starting balance of 50 credits as soon as you've confirmed your email address—enough for 10 transfers or 5 market price comparisons with matches. You use them like purchased credits; they can't be paid out.

What happens when my credits run out?

Changes already transferred stay on eBay. You can keep reviewing and editing; you transfer new changes as soon as you buy more credits or activate Premium.

Do credits expire?

No. Purchased credits and the starting balance don't expire as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, unused credits are forfeited—we'll point this out to you beforehand.

Can I combine credits and Premium?

Yes. While Premium is active, no credits are deducted for transfers or market price comparisons. Your balance is kept and is available to you again when you end Premium.

How do I cancel Premium?

In the customer portal in your account, at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. Alternatively, use “Cancel contracts here”—even without signing in.

Is there a minimum term or notice period?

Premium has no minimum term beyond the current billing month. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month; Premium stays active until then. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no subscription.

Are there limits on listings or accounts?

No. All features are available to every account, with no listing or account limits. You only pay for transfers to eBay and market price comparisons with matches.

Does each additional eBay account cost extra?

No. You can connect multiple eBay accounts to your eOptima account for free. Credits and Premium apply to your entire eOptima account, including all connected eBay accounts.

How can I pay, and do I get an invoice?

Payment is handled by Stripe, e.g. by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. You'll see which payment methods are offered to you during checkout. You get an invoice for every purchase. For domestic transactions in Germany exempt under § 19 UStG (German VAT Act), no VAT is charged or shown under our small business scheme. The tax treatment of cross-border transactions follows the applicable legal requirements. All prices are final prices including any applicable taxes. The tax treatment that applies to your purchase is shown at checkout and on the invoice.

Do I have a right of withdrawal as a consumer?

Yes, the statutory right of withdrawal applies. You'll find the details in the information on the right of withdrawal.
