Overview
Your eBay dashboard: accounts, listings, and open issues at a glance
As soon as you sign in, you see how your inventory is doing: how many listings are active or ended, what their inventory value is, and where shipping costs no longer match your rates—without spreadsheets and without clicking through individual eBay pages.
- All listings, broken down into active, ended, and variations
- Inventory value separated by currency—even for listings in euros and US dollars
- Outdated shipping rates and pending changes as separate metrics
- Carriers table with listings, outdated rates, and cost difference per carrier
- Open shipping recommendations such as “DHL · €6.99 → €5.49” with a direct jump to the fix

Listings
Find eBay listings—by title, SKU, MPN, or item number
Whether headphones, a winter jacket, or vitamin capsules—you should be able to find any of your listings in seconds. Listing search covers titles, SKUs, MPNs, and eBay item numbers across all connected accounts and marketplaces, and for spare parts, OE/OEM numbers too.
Each row shows the key data at a glance: quantity, sales, manufacturer, variations, and shipping—and whether your shipping rate is still correct. You change the title and price right in the list.
- Search by title, SKU, MPN, or item ID—and by OE/OEM for spare parts
- Filter by marketplace (20), status (Active, Ended, Draft, Out of stock), and carrier
- “Outdated rates only” toggle for listings with a rate mismatch
- Inline editing of title and price right in the list
- Status per listing: “Synced” or, for example, “2 changes pending”

Optimizations
Optimize eBay listings—sorted by what needs action
With hundreds of listings, the problem isn't fixing things—it's finding them. The “Optimizations” view checks every listing for typical weak spots and shows you what to do in each row: a missing MPN, shipping costs above your rate, Best Offer turned off, or listings nobody has touched in over twelve months.
One click on a metric filters out exactly those cases—and with “Start review mode”, you work through the whole selection one by one.
- 4 quick filters: Not reviewed yet, MPN missing, Shipping above rate, Not edited in 12+ months
- Total price as buyers see it: item price plus shipping
- Filters and sorting by status, editing, and last edit—as removable chips
- Bulk action bar: mark selected listings as reviewed or open them together in review mode
- “Last edited” shows which listings have never been adjusted

Review mode
Review mode: work through listing after listing without losing track
Review mode guides you through your selection like a checklist. At the top, you see where you are—such as “Listing 3 of 42”—and below it, the “Action needed” card with all open issues for that listing. You can fix many of them right there: enter the MPN or set the shipping cost to your rate with one click.
Once everything is done, “Reviewed & next” takes you to the next listing. A bar at the bottom keeps track of unsaved changes so nothing gets lost.
- Action needed with direct fixes, e.g. “Set to €5.49”
- “Already OK” shows passed checks, such as “Title uses 72 of 80 characters”
- Tabs for overview, title & description, item specifics, shipping, variations, and history
- Title editor with an 80-character counter and description with HTML preview
- Actions: mark as reviewed, refresh images on eBay, reload Best Offer data, compare market prices
- Save bar with “Transfer to eBay” and “Transfer, reviewed & next →”

Item specifics
Complete eBay item specifics and required fields
On eBay, buyers filter by item specifics such as brand, size, color, or MPN. If a required item specific is missing, eBay may even reject changes to the listing.
eOptima loads the requirements of your eBay category and puts required and recommended item specifics at the top. Missing required details are clearly marked—and also show up under “Action needed” in review mode.
- Item specifics by eBay category, labeled “Required”, “Required · missing”, and “Recommended”
- “Reload eBay requirements” when eBay changes a category's requirements
- “Add item specific” for your own details, with multiple values one per line
- “MPN missing” notice—so buyers find your item more easily in eBay search
- Missing item specifics as a counter on the tab, e.g. “2 missing”

Market price comparison
Compare eBay prices: the cheapest active listings at a glance
The eBay price comparison searches by MPN or title—and for spare parts, by OE/OEM number too—and lists the five cheapest active listings on eBay with item price, shipping, and total price. eOptima doesn't make any price recommendation—you set your price yourself.
You choose whether to show only listings in the same condition as yours or all conditions. Direct links open the active and sold listings on eBay.
- 5 cheapest active listings as “item + shipping = total”
- Search by MPN with additional keywords or by title, OE/OEM number, or your own search term
- Condition “Same as my listing (New)” or “All conditions”
- Direct links “Active listings on eBay ↗” and “Sold listings on eBay ↗”
- Available in review mode via Actions → Compare market prices—10 credits per comparison with matching listings, free if there are no matches, unlimited with Premium

Best Offer & advertising
Set Best Offer and your Promoted Listings ad rate with precision
Best Offer only makes sense if the limits are right. In the “Price & offers” card, you set for each listing the amount at which eBay automatically accepts offers and the minimum price that applies. The preview shows you what the buyer pays in total.
In the same step, you adjust the ad rate for Promoted Listings. You'll find listings without Best Offer under Optimizations via the “No Best Offer” notice.
- “Allow Best Offer” toggle per listing
- Minimum price and “Auto-accept from”—empty fields turn off the respective automation
- “Buyer pays in total (preview)” from sale price and shipping
- Promoted Listings ad rate from 2% to 100%
- “Reload Best Offer data” to fetch the current status from eBay

Process
How an optimization works
Five steps from import to a verifiable result—every change stays under your control.
- Sync
Your active listings come from eBay with images, item specifics, and shipping data.
- Review
Quick filters and review mode show where the MPN, required item specifics, or shipping costs are off.
- Correct
You edit values right in the listing and see every new value before it goes to eBay.
- Transfer
“Transfer to eBay” sends your changes. They're only applied after eBay confirms.
- Trace
The history shows every change with time, before/after value, and device.
Area 2 · Shipping
Shipping rates
Manage your own shipping rates—with 29 standard rates from day one
For eOptima to check your shipping costs, it needs your actual costs. That's why every new account starts with 29 preinstalled standard rates. You adjust them, delete them, or add your own—per marketplace, currency, carrier, package type, and weight.
When DHL, DPD, or Hermes change their prices, you fetch the current carrier prices with one click. Your own adjustments and deleted rates stay protected.
- 29 standard rates preinstalled for every new account
- Fields for marketplace, currency, carrier, service, package type, weight from/to, base price, surcharge, and validity
- “Update prices from DHL, DPD, and Hermes”: 7 DHL, 10 Hermes, and 13 DPD products
- Updates only when you click—your own adjustments and deletions stay protected
- Deleted standard rates can be restored

Shipping analysis
Check and correct eBay shipping costs automatically
Shipping costs that don't match your rate either cost you margin or make your listing's total price higher than necessary. The shipping analysis matches the shipping costs of your listings against your valid rates and lists every deviation as a recommendation—with current value, target value, and difference.
You apply a recommendation, choose an alternative rate, or dismiss it. If you like, you can transfer several recommendations to eBay at once.
- “Start analysis” checks your listings against your active rates
- Metrics: listings checked, matching rates, deviations, and cost difference
- Recommendations such as “Current €6.99 · Target €5.49 · Difference −€1.50”
- “Choose alternative rate”, “Transfer to eBay”, or “Discard”
- Status filter: open recommendations, transfer pending, applied, dismissed, failed
- Transfer multiple recommendations to eBay at once

Area 3 · Transfer & trace
Change queue
Transfer changes to eBay safely—controlled and without duplicates
You queue changes to price, title, shipping costs, or ad rate first. In the change queue, you see each one with its new value and decide: transfer it individually, transfer all pending changes at once, or discard it.
Your data in eOptima only changes once eBay has confirmed the change. eOptima makes sure the same change isn't carried out twice, and nothing accidentally overwrites a newer version.
- Statuses Pending, Scheduled, Transferring, Failed, Applied on eBay, and Discarded
- “Transfer to eBay” per change or “Transfer all pending”
- Failed transfers with “Try again”
- Local values only change after eBay confirms
- Protection against duplicate transfers and outdated versions
- Editing is free; saving to eBay uses credits (5 credits per transfer) or is unlimited with Premium

History
Trace every change—with before and after values
Who lowered the price, and when? What were the shipping costs before? The history shows everything that was changed in your account—prices, listings, shipping, syncs, and account actions—with time, before/after value, and the device the change came from.
Entries can't be changed or deleted afterwards.
- Filter by area: price changes, listings, shipping, sync, eBay connections, account & security
- Filter by result and time period, plus full-text search
- Entries grouped by day—“Today”, “Yesterday”, and older
- Before → after for every changed value, with details like “By you · Chrome on macOS”
- Tamper-proof: can't be changed afterwards
- The same retention for all accounts: as long as your account exists

Sync
Import eBay listings and keep them up to date
With “Start sync”, you load your active listings with images, item specifics, and shipping data—for a specific eBay account and either one marketplace or all enabled ones. You can follow the progress as it runs.
The sync log records every run: time, source, result, number of changes, and details if something goes wrong.
- Listing import including images, item specifics, and shipping data
- Choose the eBay account and marketplace—or all enabled marketplaces
- Progress bar during the import
- Log with time, action / source, result, changes, and details
- Time of the last sync right in the overview

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the features
What's free, and what costs credits?
Signing up is free, and every account gets all features in full. Viewing, reviewing, analyzing, and editing cost nothing: overview, listings, optimizations with review mode, item specifics, shipping rates, shipping analysis, history, and two-factor authentication. You only need credits when you save changes to eBay or load a market price comparison (5 credits per transfer, 10 credits per market price comparison with matching listings—free if there are no matches). You buy them as a one-time purchase with no subscription, from €5 for 500 credits. With Premium for €14.99 a month, you can use both without limits and without spending credits.
Does eOptima change my eBay listings automatically?
No. eOptima doesn't change anything on its own: you trigger every change yourself by clicking “Transfer to eBay”. Your values in eOptima only change once eBay has confirmed the change.
Which items and categories is eOptima suited for?
For listings in every eBay category—whether electronics, clothing, dietary supplements, household goods, sporting goods, or spare parts. eOptima loads the required and recommended item specifics of the respective eBay category, the optimizations flag missing MPNs and empty required item specifics, and the market price comparison searches by MPN or title. For spare parts, OE/OEM numbers are supported as well.
How do my shipping rates stay up to date?
Every new account starts with 29 standard rates that you can freely adjust, delete, or add to. With “Update prices from DHL, DPD, and Hermes”, you apply the current carrier prices—only when you trigger it. Your own adjustments and deleted rates stay protected.
Does eOptima need my eBay password?
No. You connect your eBay account via the official eBay sign-in (OAuth) and confirm access directly on eBay. eOptima only stores an access key—encrypted and never in the browser. You can disconnect at any time and also revoke access in your eBay account.
